Setting up FRC Driver Station

This guide will provide a step by step guide of setting up the FRC Driver Station environment for use in FRC Competitions.

Prerequisites

Hardware

  • NI roboRIO
    • USB Cable or Ethernet cable to plug it in.
  • DMC60C

1. Setting up the roboRIO

1.1) Open Labview 2017 and click Utilities>roboRIO Imaging Tool 2018.

1.2) Click Tools>Board>Boards Manager… to open the Arduino boards manager.

1.3) Scroll to the bottom and click the Install button for the Digilent Core to install it.

1.4) Once it has finished installing, the Digilent boards can be selected in the Tools>Board menu.
